Rebecca Morgan, LPC, CCMHC/NCC, LPSC holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Tuskegee University and a Master’s Degree in Community and School Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University. She is very passionate about clients and aids them through a healing process by focusing on three key areas: Body, Mind, and Soul. Rebecca has provided clinical services for the past seven years to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples in both an individual and group format. She has experience treating various mood, behavioral, and psychotic disorders, in addition to helping families who have experienced trauma and the effects of domestic violence. Rebecca Morgan has expertise in treating children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism or Asperger’s.
Rebecca uses a theoretical integration approach to psychotherapy. She believes that there is not a single approach that can account for the diversity that exist amongst human beings. Hence, being able to pull from various theoretical frameworks (person centered, reality, family systems, etc.) and techniques (TF-CBT, DBT skills training, Motivational Interviewing, etc.) to aid clients through their healing process enriches her practice. Rebecca has worked in several settings including: psychiatric residential care for children and adolescents, community agencies, public schools, and has recently begun building with Capstone. Rebecca takes Aetna insurance and is in process of getting on additional insurance panels. She currently works at the Stone Mountain and Dunwoody office locations.
