Janice is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. She specializes in working with spouses/partners of sex addicts. For several years she has facilitated groups for partners of sex addicts and counseled with them on an individual basis. She obtained her training and certification for this specialty from the Association for Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS); She has also been trained as a certified clinical betrayal trauma specialist (CBTS)by Dr. Kevin Skinner with the Addo Recovery Network. She has a deep understanding of the trauma experienced by partners of those with sexual infidelity issues. 

Janice came into the field of counseling following a long and fulfilling career in education where she served as an elementary teacher, school counselor in middle school, and university professor in a School Counseling Program. Janice currently enjoys traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
